Ans:	This problem was Ubuntu 7.10 server's bug,So customer have to update their kernel Pls follow the procedure to update 1. Use their install ubuntu-server 7.10 CD to boot ,and select rescue mode. 2.Run the command apt-get update apt-get install linux-386 apt-get remove linux-server 3.reboot
